Stuff is Just Stuff

When those we know and love exit this world we are left to mourn their loss but we are also left with all of their stuff. Many people write wills instructing children and others on who gets what when they die. But literally, in the end, it's just stuff. TVs, fridges, pianos, pens, and pocketknives are all left behind when a person passes on.

Sometimes I wonder if I place to much emphasis and effort into obtaining this stuff. Sure, some of it is important and makes life rather convenient but what is it that really matters? If you ask me, I'd probably say that people fall pretty high on that list. The relationships that we foster in this life are worth far more than anything with a price tag on it.

In the words of Paul, "For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out." So enjoy the company of your family and friends and let em know how much they mean to you while we're all still here! And don't worry about accumulating more "stuff"!
